The stuff

  • Harassment will not be tolerated.

  • If I require details or confirmation, please reply ASAP.

  • I do not accept deadlines, but please inform me so I can keep that in consideration.

  • The commissioner must be 18+ to commission a fullsuit

  • Prepare a reference sheet, I will not accept a commission without reference sheet

  • I don't have to accept your commission if I don't want to do it

  • Before starting, I will ask for a 50% down payment, this is non-refundable as I will be using this for purchasing materials.

  • The fursuit is considered as started as soon as I recieve your first payment so if you don't think that you will have the final payment by finishing time, please don't commission me

  • The other 50% must be paid before I send your fursuit, in full when I have finished

  • The commissioner is responsible for covering the delivery costs

  • By commissioning me, you agree that you are able to fully pay for it and backing out will not result in a refund and won't be considered again in the future

  • If you are unable to pay after I have finished, I will hold onto your suit for up to 4 months. After this I will have the right to alter and resell the suit as an original character.

  • If you need repairs, I will do them for free as long as the delivery is covered.

  • Modifications to your suit are fine you do not need to ask for permission to do so.

  • Your suit will be worn to get showcase pictures. (will be disinfected)

Duruing your commission

  • Before I start doing your suit, I will discuss your character with you, going through all the features, anything you want, anything that may be a problem and hopefully all questions and requests are answered.

  • Make sure that I know all the details of your character (eg. obscure marking) and suit requirements (eg. attached tail)

  • After this, I will ask you for payment.

  • Whilst I am working on your commission, I will aim to give you WIP photos every 2 weeks or less.

  • If I require things from you (eg. DTD) you will be responsible for getting it to me.

  • If there are any things you want fixed or changed, please tell me ASAP so I am aware, some things will be harder to fix later on

  • I will not be responsible for changes or errors after you receive your fursuit.

#4. Mango

[2020] Kitty dragon - she/her
Style: Plush suit

Mango is big scary dragon, rawr! Not really, she's a cute little kitty and loves naps and pets. This is Mango v2 and 100% more plushy and hugable. The perfect plush to fall asleep with!First attempt at plush suits and a remake of my first suit

#5. Lolly

[2019/2021] Sylveon - she/her
Style: Semi Kemono

Lolly is a sylveon, she does all of the things any care-free sylveon does. Though if she trusts you, you may be able to use her in battle!Lolly was my 3rd suit, but head was remade in 2021 as the original one wasn't as good as I wanted it to be

#7. Haru

[2022] Dog - He/Him
Style: Kemono

Haru is an energetic dog. He loves attention and running around. He enjoys long boat rides.Haru was my first serious attempt at kemono style, unfortunately I couldn't get the dome eyes but he opened my eyes to stompy paws (feet paws) and puffy paws (hand paws). Overall, I think he is one of the best suits I've made and I will be using him as an example to my newer suits

#8. Tori

[2021⇢2023] Avali - They/He
Style: Toony

Tori is an speedy avali, they enjoy a good run, gliding through the windsI wanted to make an avian suit of some kind. I experimented with making cool wings and achieved it for the most part, however, losing motivation, a lot of parts towards the end were rushed.

#10. Peaches

[2023] Birb Dragon - She/Her
Style: Kemono

Peaches is a bird dragon with an affinity to nature, she enjoys flapping her wings about and having a run around the place exploring the nature and flora around her.Inspired by FluffyJellyDog, I really wanted to have another attempt at another winged suit. This suit was definately a challenge, this is my first real exposure to weird shaped horns, even stompier paws, drop crotch, hair, more accessories and of course trying to make the wings in a different style. I love her and am proud of how she turned out.

Owner: Grumpy (Twitter, Instagram)

#13. Mochi

[2023] Red Panda - She/Her
Style: Kemono

A chilled out, shy little panda, being lazy and trying to make friends with everyone. This is my fursona to represent me, opposed to Mango who represents who I want to beMy first plantigrade suit... Yes it took this long to make one, good learning experience as there are some things I was unaware of coming into this.

Commissioner’s guide

Reference sheet

  • The reference sheet is to show off all of the features of your suit

  • A good ref will at least include full frontal view and a full back view

  • It will show all details of your character, where the details need to be

  • For obscure details, an indicator can be used to ensure your maker is aware of it

Mango Reference sheet by me

  • Ideally the minimum amount of detail, has front and back view and includes any missing details

ZeeKay Arts fursuit friendly ref sheet

  • Shows all possible spots on the character

  • Close ups of some important things

  • Labels to help maker and notes to explain character or features of the suit

  • Optional: Extra details to assist your maker with buying materials

How to: Duct tape dummy

  • Makers like having the zipper at the front of the painter's suit to access the inner area easily, you can do this by just taping beside your zipper when youre ready to do the top half (after doing the legs)

  • Tape down the joints and the edge of your DTD (semi-tight) before filling out the areas so it doesnt end up baggy, this includes the crotch, the armpits, the wrist, ankles

  • Make sure to mark out the spots where your joints are, but also mark out the place

  • For comfort, you should assist the tapee by giving them a broom or such so they can rest their arms during the T-pose (Sometimes makers prefer A-pose)

Fursuiting

  • When suiting, you should wear underarmor heat gear. Other sports gear may also work.

  • What is underarmor? - It is a brand of clothing designed for excersise to help with absorbing sweat and cools you down (just a little). It is form fitting so it also makes suiting up and down much easier as your skin tends to stick to the suit.

  • Make sure to wear a balaclava for the same reasons above!

  • I recommend having a handler but make sure to have a friend nearby to make sure everything is good

  • WATER

  • Act accordingly, your body has limits

  • Be careful of your surroundings, you take up a larger space now

Fursuit Maintenance

  • Air out suit after suiting sessions

  • Use fursuit spray to disinfect, disinfecting spray can do the trick but sprays may have chemicals that can damage your suit

  • Clean after every few outings (use your nose and eyes to judge)

  • Fan hanger to dry suit faster, good for cons

Fursuit Cleaning

Ask your suit maker for the most accurate advice

Foam based head

  • Foam heads should be machine washable, however if you prefer, washing by hand is safer

  • Machine: Make sure that it doesnt have the middle bar, that will for sure destroy your suit

  • Machine: Use delicate settings

  • Make sure to use cold water, liquid washing detergent (use a small amount)

  • Make sure that you protect the eyes during the washing process, cover it with something

  • Alternatively; Use a carpet washer (No tips as I have never used one)

Resin/3d printed head/parts

  • I am including this to help however other makers will be more knowledgable then I am in this topic

  • These heads cannot be machine washed, use a cloth to wipe; soaking may not be possible depending on the functionality of the head (these vary)

  • Carpet washer should be good

Bodysuit

  • Turn your suit inside out so the fur would be ripped out or caught on the machine

  • Otherwise wash by hand however it will take a longer amount of time to dry

  • Take out any padding and detachables

  • Most detachables/padding can be machine washed

  • Use cold water, liquid washing detergent (use a small amount)

Paws/Tails

  • You can safely wash paws using a washing bag in the washing machine

  • Tails can be washed in washing machine, use a washing bag or turn inside out if possible

Drying

  • Leave in an open area, away from the sun; Air drying only

  • Leave upside down with the inside exposed

  • Have a fan blowing into the suit,

  • Use a fursuit head drying fan to dry the inside if possible

  • Brush fur (multiple times) during the drying process
